CA Descaler

CA  Industrial descaler is a water-based chemical descaler formulated for the safe removal of scale from water-wetted aluminum surfaces.

Aided by wetting agents, corrosion inhibitors and degreasing agents, it effectively loosens and removes deposits from critical aluminum components such as heat exchangers, fin fans, and any other aluminum coated surface.

Color Change Says Clean
A yellow liquid, CA industrial descaler changes color when the solution is 95+ percent spent. When the solution begins to turn bluish-purple, it should be changed or added to if the equipment is not clean.

Compatible Materials
Non-corrosive CA industrial descaler will not affect aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, admiralty metal, titanium, copper, iron, lead, PVC plastic, polyethylene, rubber or leather when used as directed.

Non-Compatible Materials
This formula is not recommended for zinc, galvanized steel or magnesium alloys. If uncertain, a material sample should be submitted for laboratory testing.
Safe and Biodegradable

CA  industrial descaler is non-toxic, non-corrosive and non-flammable when used as directed. Because it is biodegradable, standard disposal procedures may be followed.

CA Industrial Descaler is a water-based chemical formulated to safely clean lime scale and corrosion from water-wetted surfaces. It contains wetting agents, corrosion inhibitors and degreasing compounds to help penetrate and carry away the scale and corrosion. This product is specifically designed to be used on equipment that contains aluminum that cannot be safely cleaned with other scale removing compounds.

When used as directed, CA Industrial Descaler is non-corrosive and will not affect the following metals: aluminum, stainless steel, carbon steel, brass, admiralty metal, copper, iron, lead, PVC plastic, polyethylene, rubber, leather, and most other materials found in waterwetted equipment. CA Industrial Descaler is not recommended for zinc, galvanized steel, or alloys of magnesium.

This product is non-toxic, non-corrosive, and non-flammable when used as directed. It is biodegradable and can be safely put to the sewer in the spent condition.
CA Industrial Descaler has a built-in indicator which changes color when the solution is 95+ percent spent. When the solution begins to turn blue, it should be added to or changed if the equipment is not clean.

DIRECTIONS
CA Industrial Descaler is designed to be used at ambient temperatures above 35ºF. It is most effective when circulated through the equipment to be cleaned. When possible, circulation should be up-flow. CA Industrial Descaler can also be used by filling the equipment to be cleaned and allowing it to set until the scale disappears. When cleaning exposed surfaces (such as fin fan coolers), CA Industrial Descaler should be periodically sprayed on the surface until the scale disappears. In all cases, fresh water should be used to rinse the clean surface free of CA Industrial Descaler. The cleaning operation normally takes two to six hours. The equipment should be vented at all times since carbon dioxide (CO2) gas evolves during the disassociation of lime scale.

When the cleaning process is complete, the system should be completely drained and flushed with fresh water.

METHOD OF APPLICATION
CA Industrial Descaler solution is most effectively used by circulating it through the equipment to be cleaned. When possible, circulation should be up flow. The equipment should be vented at all times since carbon dioxide (CO2) gas is liberated from the disassociation of the lime scale.
